A few near misses in the EPL, followed by some strange results with our Premier League football tips, saw us make a loss last week so we'll try put that right. I'm not sure if any one tipped the 6-1 to City against Utd and 1-0 to QPR against Chelsea. I doubt it. Here are this weekends (29th March) EPL football tips.
Everton V Man Utd
To say that this isn't the best time to play Man Utd would be putting it lightly. Ferguson won't take any thing less then a resounding victory at Goodison and his players will be pumped up after their hammering by Man City. Everton can count themselves lucky to win at Craven Cottage, as Zamora should have wrapped up all 3 points when he rounded Howard only to sky the ball over the bar in the 89th minute. To compound his miss Everton went on to score 2 injury time goals and steal the points. United will come out traps flying and will be too much for Everton to control.
Result: Man Utd
Value Bet: Man Utd – Man Utd 7/4 with Sky Bet
Chelsea v Arsenal
A big big game for both teams, Chelsea can't afford to lose any more ground on the top two and Arsenal will want to continue their march up the table. Chelsea rather uncharacteristically haven't kept a clean sheet in 8 Premiership Games while Arsenal have won 6 from seven in all competitions. Chuck in Arsenal's tendency to leak goals along with Van Persie's form and we should be in for a goal fest.
Result: Chelsea
Value Bet: over 3.5 goals 7/4 with Paddy Power
Man City V Wolves
The Wolves faithful were calling for Mick's head on Saturday when they were 2-0 down. Chants of "You don't know what your doing" were ringing round the Stadium when he took both wingers off. I'm sure they all apoligised individually after the come back was completed with 2 goals coming on the 84th and 86th minute. I expect the boo boys to be out again this weekend after Wolves get a thumping at the hands of City. Manchester City should cement their lead at the top of the table by cruising to another home victory making it 9 wins from 10. City have only scored less than 3 goals on two of their 9 premiership games this season and they managed 2 in both of those. 4,4 and 6 in their last 3 games
Result: Man City
Value Bet: Man City to win 5-0 20/1 with Ladbrokes
Norwich v Blackburn
This is a massive game for Steve Kean the Blackburn boss (I think I've said this a few times). They can count them selves a tad unfortunate not to pick up something from the game against Spurs as they had 20 shots on goal and kept on going only to be beaten by 2 quality strikes from Van De Vaart. This game is difficult to call as Blackburn's players are still given it their all and could come up trumps. But on the other hand Norwich are proving extremely difficult to beat and play some decent football along the way. They have only lost 3 from nine and two of these were to Chelsea and Man Utd

Sunderland v Aston Villa
Despite been 14th Sunderland have the joint third best defence in the league along with Chelsea and Liverpool and come off the back of an important away win at Bolton. Villa on the other hand will be gutted at losing at home to their local rivals West Brom. Sunderland should grab another win, as their starting to click while the Villa seem a little lost and lacking creativity.
Result: Sunderland
Value Bet: Bendtner to score Any time 2/1 with Paddy Power
Swansea v Bolton
Swansea will be kicking themselves for letting Wolves of the hook last weekend. The two points dropped in the last 6 minutes could prove crucial down the line. Swansea are yet to concede at home this season winning 2 and drawing two and should prove tough opposition for a Bolton team low on confidence. Bolton have only managed 2 wins this season, the first against QPR 4-0 at the start of the season and the 2nd against another team in poor form, Wigan.
Result: Swansea
Value Bet: Swansea to win to Nil 13/5 with Victor Chandler
Wigan V Fulham
Wigan have lost six on the bounce and appear shy in front of goal with only six goals in nine games. 6 of Fulham's 11 came in one game against QPR so this game shouldn't be the greatest spectacle. I fancy Fulham’s quality up front to edge out Wigan, Zamora and Ruiz should be the difference.
Result: Fulham
Value Bet: Zamora to score anytime 2/1 with Paddy Power
West Brom v Liverpool
West Brom turned Liverpool over in this fixture last season too Hodgson's delight and their in fine form after beaten their nearest Rivals Wolves and Villa in recent weeks. The main trouble for them is the loss of Shane Long after a horrendous challenge from Alan Hutton sidelined him for a few weeks at least. Liverpool are due a hatful of goals in a game once they find their shooting boots. They have managed to win away at Everton and Arsenal so should manage it at West Brom.
Result: Liverpool
Value Bet: Suarez to score first 19/4 with Victor Chandler
Spurs v QPR
QPR are proving very difficult to beat having only lost one in the last six. But their only home win came last week against a nine man Chelsea team who still caused QPR problems. QPR are finding goals hard to come by and their top goal scorer is Helguson with 2 and one of those was a penalty. Spurs are flying high in fifth place with a game in hand, winning 5 from the last six only drawing to Newcastle at St James. Van De Vaart has hit form lately scoring 5 in the last 4 games.
Result: Spurs
Value Bet: Over 3.5 goals 6/4 with Bet 365
Stoke City v Newcastle
This is heading for a stalemate as Stoke have a great defensive record at home only letting in one this season to Man Utd. They have also had trouble scoring goals with only seven strikes so far. Newcastle are still unbeaten and have only conceded 6 goals so far, so I envisage a low scoring game.
