Will’s winning tips for the English football league for the weekend of the 5th March 2025
Yet another double last week with Shrewsbury Town drawn a blank at home against Wimbledon (0-0). Huddersfield and Charlton had won comfortably away only for the Shrews to end their 7 game winning streak.
I won't be deterred and draw hope from the previous 3 weeks where we've narrowly lost out on the full set.
My first choice is Leyton Orient (11/10) to win at home against a Hartlepool side who have lost their way of late losing 5 from 6. Orient on the other hand seem to be over they sluggish start and are on the rise winning 4 from six and drawn the other 2.
The second choice is For Morecambe (4/5) to dispatch Plymouth. Plymouth have had their glimmer of a recovery where they got 4 point from six at home blocked out by 3 straight defeats. Morecambe have won 5 games away and drawn the other three so the road certainly suits them.
Your going to have to wait till after your meat and two veg for the last of my choices on Sunday. As mentioned in my Premier tip's Fulham fielded a strong team on Thursday night whereas Spurs (13/10) rested theirs. Even with out the Europa league distraction I would fancy Spurs on their current form.
