Day One Royal Ascot Tips Review

Not the greatest of starts to the week. Elusive Kate did as I said and went out and led and when Animal Kingdom faded I thought she was nailed on. Unfortunately there were a host of horses running on late with Declaration of War flying home to win.

A near miss as Shea Shea got caught coming to the finish by Sole Power to finish 2nd. Pearl Secret did well to get placed in third.

Badly needed a winner by now and was extremely gutted at losing by a nose considering how Toronado got bumped. He surely would have won if he hadn't had to take the detour round Dawn Approach. Ahh well, I did tip an e/w bet for it at 4/1 so money returned.

After a £30 layout I'm down £10.62. So close but yet so far.
Day Two Royal Ascot Tips
3.45pm PRINCE OF WALES STAKES
It's a tough day for the favourite backers. A lot of races are up for grabs. That's why I'm heading for Al Kazeem in the Prince of Wales's Stakes. Hopefully he can come up trumps. The only horse in its way is Camelot who narrowly missed out on the Triple Crown last year but was beating by Al Kazeem at the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh last time out. He hasn't been in that scintillating form of 2025 since an operation.

4:25 ROYAL HUNT CUP
A host of horses could win this one so I'm opting for Educate. A horse with an impressive strike rate with four wins from his last five. Jamie Spencer is on board for the third time after winning the last two races. Nice e/w odds with bookies that pays out on 5 places.

5:00 QUEEN MARY STAKES
Another wide-open race. The favourite Beldale Memory might prefer a bit of give in the ground and it looks as if the rain may hold off for another day. So RIZEENA has my shout, won her last two races and ground should suit.
