Wednesday's Review and Thursday's Royal Ascot Tips
Wednesday proved very lucrative as we tipped up two fantastic winners out of the three.
After narrowly missing out on two winners on Tuesday.
My turn to win by a head. He made me sweat but Al Kazeem finished well. He timed his run to perfection to get up on the line and provide James Doyle with what turned out to be the first winner of an amazing treble. Camelot though was a bitter disappointment.
3.45pm PRINCE OF WALES STAKES
£5 win Al Kazeem won at 11/4 – £12.50 Profit (tipped at 5/2)
4:25 ROYAL HUNT CUP
Got held up at the start and didn't have enough to get back in the game. The race started off with all horses 10/1 bar.
£2.50 e/w – Educate losses 12/1 – £5 loss
5:00 QUEEN MARY STAKES
The story off the day. James Doyle completed his hat trick on Rizenna with a well-timed run.
£5 win – Rizeena won at 6/1 – £30 Profit
A great return of £52.50 from an out lay of £15 leaving a profit of £37.50.
Thursday looks like another cracking days racing and we are looking to boost outr betting bank further with three more winning tips.
3.05pm Ribblesdale Stakes
Hopefully I'll start my betting day off with a favourite.
Alive Alive Oh should win for the third time this year. She was tempted by the Oaks but held back with this race in mind. Yet another Irish win on the cards.
Alive Alive Oh £10 win – 5/2 with ladbrokes
3.45pm Ascot Gold Cup
The biggy on Thursday is of course the Gold Cup. It's the test of stamina for flat horses The favourite will no doubt be Estimate the Queens horse who has already won twice at Ascot and has proven to have the stamina. Should go close with Ryan Moore on board. Simenon with Johnny Murtagh on board is also a threat, especially after his won twice last year at the same meeting.
But I'm going to appose the favourites and head for Saddlers Rock. Seems to have been round for an age but is still only 5. Won a big race last year at Goodwood and the distance, ground and pace should suit.
Saddlers Rock £2.50 e/w at 8/1 with Bet 365
Britannia Stakes 4.25pm
I like the look of Wentworth 4/1 with the Hannon and Hughes combo but the odds are just too small for me in a race with 25 plus horses in. Anything could happen.
So lets find some value. LLAREGYB is my shout as his progressing nicely and the handicapper hasn't gone to town on him after the recent win. With some bookies paying out 6 places his worth a shout at 14/1.
LLAREGYB £2.50 e/w at 14/1 with Paddy Power (paying 6 places)
