Day Four Horse Racing Tips At Royal Ascot

Well day three at Royal Ascot proved to be somewhat disappointing on the tipping front with two losers and a non runner. So we will be looking to claw back some of the profits we built up previously. Wow what a day Ladies Day proved to be. A winner for the Yanks in the first with No Nay Never followed up by an emotional winner for Lady Cecil with Riposte in the second. To complete the hat-trick on an extraordinary day was her majesty the Queen finally getting the winner in the Gold Cup with Estimate ridden by Ryan Moore prevailing.

The writing was on the wall when my banker Alive Alive Oh was withdrawn from the 3.05pm Ribblesdale Stakes.

Next up was the Gold Cup. Saddlers Rock led 4 furlongs out but faded 1 furlong out to finish 8th. Estimate ran home to clinch the prize for the queen.

Britannia Stakes 4.25pm

This race was always going to be a gamble with so many running and I thought I had a nice outsider. Unfortunately we were always chasing and ended up fading a furlong out to end a disappointing day.

I've still managed to arrive at Friday with a profit of £7

Friday has arrived at last and I'm hoping for a good day after a mixed week.
It's also looking like a dry day so I'm one win up already.

Albany Stakes (Fillies’ Group 3) (2yo, Class 1, 6f, 20 runners)

Joyseuse and Sandiva are well fancied but I'm heading for some Value with Midnite Angel. Top trainer and Jockey with Hannon and Hughes. This is a race where 7 from the last 11 winners were 15/2 bar at the off. She won last time out after a difficult race where nothing went right. So there's more to come. Red Lady is also a good e/w shout at around 20/1 with Fallon on board

Battle of Marengo is too short for me and should be apposed. The next best should be Greatwood and at 8/1 his a great e/w choice as well. His way better then last time out at the Dante Stakes.

Coronation Stakes (British Champions Series) (Fillies’ Group 1) (Rnd)

James Doyle did it earlier in the week and now I'm backing Richard Hughes to bag a hat trick on the bounce.

Sky Lantern should go close especially having beaten Just the Judge last time out at Newmarket. She can quicken up nicely and a showing of that form will certainly see her placed. The Hughes Hannon combi with this horse has seen them never out of the top two in 7 races. Big break is also getting a lot of interest and is improving all the time.
