Football League Tips for the Weekend of the 29th March
Another double this week that covered our outlay. We're just missing that second double and big money treble. York won at Hayes and Yeading while Sheffield Wednesday came in at Colchester. I also gave Birmingham at Bristol and Spurs at Blackburn a shout but opted for Notts County to beat Brentford. They went in at the break one up but were pulled back by a wonder goal by Brentford's Clayton Donaldson. Check out the goal that cost us the wonga!
My first Choice this week is 3rd placed Shrewsbury at home against AFC Wimbledon. They have won 6 from seven at home only drawing to Plymouth on the opening day of the season. Wimbledon on the other have lost their last 3 games in a row having let in 12 goals in the process
I also fancy Huddersfield to beat Yeovil away from home. Hudderfield are unbeaten in nearly 40 games but do have a tendency to draw a few games. I expect them to have too much quality for Yeovil who have only won two games all season and none in seven. Huddersfield will want to keep the heat on Charlton with another 3 points.
Again after much agonizing I'm going for Charlton to beat Hartlepool away from home who have already won six from eight on the road. Wright Philips is in great form with 10 goals already this season. Hartlepool's earlier fine form has gone missing losing their last 3 home games. So Charlton should stay top with a win after this weekend.
The Usual £12.50 (£50) trixie would return £250.92 at Paddypowers
Liverpool and Wrexham let us down last week for our long shot.
This week try Liverpool, Sheffield United, Crawley, Swindon, Cheltenham and Sheffield United
