Betting Tips for the Euro 2025 Qualifier Playoffs
An odd week last week that saw us make a profit of 33p on the premiership bets. Well it wasn't a loss. The stand out win was Manchester United to win by 1 goal at 10/3.
Without no English Premier League this week we're going to look at the European Championship playoff's. All games are fairly matched and are expected to be tight.
Estonia v Ireland
The premiership players for Ireland will feel like their playing in a FA Cup first round tie as this is the sort of venue their visiting. The Le Coq arena holds just over 9,000 fans and they will be right on top of the pitch. Estonia are the surprise package of the play offs after winning their last 3 games, this after losing the previous game to the Faroe Islands (what price were they to qualify then?). Even then they had to rely on Serbia Drawing with Slovenia. They managed to score 15 goals in the group stage but let in 14. Not one clean sheet. Ireland on the other hand are extremely hard to break down and haven't conceded in their last 3 away games. So between Irelands Tight defence and Estonia's leaky defence I can see a narrow away win, especially now that Robbie Keane is fit.
Result: Away Win
The big hitters are out here with Real Madrid's Ronaldo for Portugal banging them in for fun and also Man City's Dzeko racking them up. This could prove the one to watch for entertainment value. There was 38 goals scored between them in qualifying and 20 conceded. I can just see the quality that is throughout the rest of Portugal's team coming through and scoring that one more goal.
Result: Away Win
Czech Republic v Montenegro
The Czechs aren't the team they used to be and bar some suspect referring decisions against Scotland they might well not be here right now. Montenegro started their group well drawn with England and led after 4 games. They then had a string of bad results that saw them switch manager. A really tight game here with either side not wanting to give any ground away.
Result: Draw
A cracker of a game that will have an amazing atmosphere. Guss Hiddink is a wily old coach and will try and stifle Croatia's attacking flair. But Croatia who hold such players as Modric , Corluka- Tottenham, Olic, Pranjic – Bayern Munich, Jelavic – Rangers and Eduardo of Shakhtar amonst others should shade it.
